Vancouver Revscene Spring Meet 2014

With the WCCE meet being a total chaotic failure with cars in ditches, cars hitting poles, cars being sprayed with rocks from burn outs, who is down to go to a properly organized annual Revscene spring meet?

We can have a premeet at Oakridge as usual and head down in a group.

I know for summer meets, if we have enough cars show up, we can request a designated spot for the group. I'm not sure if that is the case with the spring meets. I will get back to you guys.

update: Okay, so no reserved spots for spring meet. I'm thinking we should have the premeet even earlier (9:30-9:45), head out by 10:15 and be there by around 10:30.

The route which I think is best is the following:

It a little longer route, but I tried to minimize left turns and traffic lights where we are most likely to get separated during the cruise.

They've said no reserved spots on the FB event page so let's make sure we roll in together.

As this is a PUBLIC LOT, unfortunately there will NO RESERVED SPOTS. With the exception of the main Revscene Booth, and Vendors. Plan accordingly!

Ouch I feel ya on that one just replace my waterpump and t-stat about 2-3 month ago it was pretty pricey to fix parts alone were 500+ not including labour

The main organizer was only 17 yrs old. I think he'll take it as a good learning experience, and realizing how hard it actually is to host a large & organized car meet.

As for the Spring meet, I'll see you guys there. Don't have a e9x yet though.. so gonna be driving my Chrysler Sebring, lol.

Looks like I'm in. Sold my Chrysler yesterday, so I will be coming in a BMW X5. Not quite an E90, but still BMW

Mind if I bring a couple of friends along?

I believe spots usually fill up starting from 10am. Let's try to leave latest at 10am sharp, and get there by 10:20, otherwise it will be hard to find spots next to each other for this many people. Maybe we can leave even earlier if we are all there.

I know the Vancouver Audi group is planning to roll out from their pre-meet at 8:40am. Yes. 8:40am. LOL
