Took my car into Encinitas BMW and they informed me of a recall "software update" (can't notice anything different), adjusted the trunk because it was scratching paint on the left front side, and did the customary 15k oil/filter change.
Service was free but took 2 days to complete, more like 24 hours....After driving a 328 sedan i'm happy i bought a 335is e93- fees more planted and has lot more power! They didn't wash my car though-looks like a mess outside and inside there were bbq finger smudges on the chrome around the shifter and on the window buttons. I have never eaten in my car and this was a big disapointment. Rear brakes have 5,000miles left, fronts have 39,000. Rear tires (oem rft's) have 4/32 and fronts have 7/32 Overall pleased, except for the BBQ SMUDGES! |

the software update changed my phone interface for the worse. However one thing you will notice that is awesome is that the girl's voice on vocal gps guidance no longer lowers music volume everytime she speaks. It keeps music constant and her voice is just audible over it. So much less annoying. Also, when you turn off DTC/DSC all the way, instead of a huge DSC lighting up in the center of the instrument cluster, it has a picture of a car sliding around. Probably because a lot of people have no idea that DSC or DTC are idiot nannies.
I also noticed that google thing appearing. I have a feeling it is for the optional bmw apps or concierge or whatever. |
