The gap you have now is what all of Jason's bonnets have

Even if you look at a pic of inks car when he had it on you can see the gap there and even look at JB4-335's car that he posted here you can see he has the gap aswell. Might be normal for that bonnet though I love the way Jason told me before I bought mine that his bonnet is 100% proper fit

Mine one has a better fit it doesn't look like it's open at all so I think your stuck with what you have now bro

A gap like that can't be considered 100% proper fit. Maybe I missed the sarcasm lol

Lol there was some sarcasm there

That gap is the reason why I didn't buy Jason's bonnet and got mine from Mars. Fitment is much better

A couple of things you can do mate..

The 2 latches on the left and right side can be wound in further to close the gap. This leaves the middle latch that still props up a little more than required.

Option 1: Remove the springs on the middle latch (this will only affect the 'pop up' of release.

Option 2: Install some weather strip onto the bumper where the gap appears, this will hide the gap, just like this pic you took of me:

MOD 38 - CF M3 Bonnet
Thanks to Ink and the boys at Active, M3 hood is now installed
Vents work nice with a heat haze rising up from them which is a nice touch
Nice paint job. colour match is spot on as well as getting rid of the stone chips on the stock hood
The fitment was off at the front leaving a gap that made the hood look like it was popped open.
Removing the spring on the front hood latch fixed that (thanks for the tip Ink)

Looks pretty good, have you considered getting the hood clear wrapped now that the paint is fresh?
