Here are a couple of iPhone pics that I snapped when I was out and about (excuse the quality, I was rushing):

Now THAT is a proper red. And it looks nothing like Crimson Red like that other member posted, lol.

Thank you mate
Thank you - it's surprising how much you can change the entire look of a car! I love them too haha, not particularly common and red really suits most BMWs. Thanks! Quote:
I like to keep it that way Thanks bro, was good to cruise up to the meet with you _________________________________________________ So the car is 99% ready for Phase 1 and the trip to Worthersee (Austria) is in just 19 days Just a couple of little tweaks remain such as a unique finish being done to the kidney grilles and neatening a few bits up such as both number plates as the front one was cut a little poorly from the supplier that I purchased them from a few weeks back and the rear one has a small blemish in one of the letters. Will update when I do the kidney grilles and then hopefully there will be a whole load of rolling and static shots from the week-long road trip through Europe

Ok! So! WÖRTHERSEE! A stunning location in Austria with incredible scenery including lakes and mountains...and some seriously fun roads winding around the mountains. So 8 of us travelled in 3 cars: My E92, a modified VW Bora and a stock Audi A4. 40 hours total drive time and just under 2000 miles. Left London late on Sunday night and arrived in Wörthersee late on Monday night. We were TRASHED after taking the Eurotunnel train across the channel to France, then drive all the way through to Germany, and then all the way through in to Austria. Didn't get as many opportunities for photos as we hoped due to the spontaneous weather (we got caught in a heavy rainstorm whilst washing the cars on the first morning...but we kept going in the rain lol) but I did manage to snap a fair few shots on my iPhone and have edited a few so here they are: At the Porsche Museum: Selfieee: Now let's get scenic: The Lake - Wörthersee by azriz88 And a few from my friends: AzRiz and me by Muhammad Hamidi, on Flickr Eurotunnel by Muhammad Hamidi, on Flickr Untitled by Richard T B Harris, on Flickr Untitled by Richard T B Harris, on Flickr

Haha yeah Hamidi's Golf was really nice too, and the Bora is really something Thanks dude, they'll do nicely for the time being :thump: So I was going to do a whole bunch of mods to the car over the next few months but I've decided to take it a little easy and just work on it slowly as the recent trip has got me craving for a really quick and noisy petrol car! So I will hopefully be resurrecting my Golf at the end of the year and taking it to the next level over winter. I want to take this E92 really far, as it's such a great car to drive and to look at, but the lack of yummy noises is not letting me love it as much as I could (and I don't like the turbo owl noises of a really free-flowing exhaust on a diesel so I won't be going down that route) Let's see what happens...

You got an unbelievable nice coupe!
Just an advice for your planned Foglight Delete: I did the same to my LCI. On my 320d there was no possibility to fix the air ducts. So I just installed the covers, that are mounted in the Bumper. I left the air ducts away and sold them...sounds weird, but it's quite dark behind the covers, so I don't see a difference. I think, only the 335i has the mounting points for the oil cooler, where i wanted to install adapters for mounting the air ducts. Have you ever thought about performance grilles? greets from Germany, Daniel |

Im slowly ticking things off the list. Hubs and calipers painted to get rid of the unsightly rust. LED interior. 12/15mm spacers. Just thinking about BC Coilovers atm but they can wait a bit i think. I bought it AUC from BMW and im kind of defeating the point of buying with warranty if i go and void it straight away |
