2010 LCI 330D e91 glovebox usb not working

Hi guys.

I wanted to update my navigation map on my professional navigation system, but the usb port in the glovebox doesn't work. When i plug a stick into the port which is under the armrest, the indicator light on usb stick lights up, but when i plug it into glovebox then nothing lights up on the stick. I read a topic which said i should update all my drivers, then it unlocks the port in the glovebox. I had it done, but nothing changed. I removed the glovebox to check the connection behind the usb port and to me it seemed fine. Any help?

All the best

Please check these for basic troubleshooting, if not done so:
- USB should be formatted with FAT32
- Size should not be 32 GB (16GB is best)
- Try changing the USB drive and update again
- Make sure that following file structure is there on root directory of usb:
File - config.nfm
Directory - pkgdb

... give these a try and let me know

Agreed with all above except stick size.
Just performed an update from 128GB FAT32 formatted USB stick (e90 2011).
