Ahh don't worry about it man! I'll pick some up from the hardware store tomorrow. I was more so inquiring as to whether zip ties would hold it. Little black ones might be a bit more stealthy anyway. You've already helped enough and my order was a little haywire with all the random winter storms and such! Were they a particular size or anything? And I see on tial's website says that it needs 1/4" vacuum line, would a foot or two do? Hopefully O'Reilly or Autozone will have something suitable in stock! Also, that was in nooooooo way meant to imply poor service or quality!!! It's really easy for those small little things to slip through the cracks! The product while getting back on topic is top notch and looks sexy as hell with the red tial on top of it!!!

I'd go with about 2 feet and cut it short, you'll also want a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter for your OEM CP hose. It's best to just cut the hose off at the nipple rather than trying to pull the existing hose off the nipple since the intake mani is very brittle.

Do you run it straight to the mani? What about that little T piece, I thought the other vacuum line went to something important??

Here's what I did. I used a 1/8 npt to an -4 (1/4"). but you can just tap a nipple instead. I found this to be the best and easiest place. Just make sure you leave enough room for the evap hose

Well I got under my hood and whooooooa I have a weekend job in there... Wanted to throw this thing in today buuuuut... I have full 2.75" piping on the cold side and the VRSF charge pipe is kind of longer lol so I'll have to order some different couplers and do some pipe trimming to squeeze this thing in there! Should be a "fun" project but unfortunately it will have to wait until next weekend... this weekend is dedicated to a clutch installation.

I don't trust my fabrication skills enough to do that, would just using something like this work or does it completely defeat the purpose??

it kind of defeats the purpose. The small 1/8 is going to act like a restriction orifice. I went to 1/4 because of issues I was having and have heard others having. Some peoples seem to be fine. The hole in the manifold is smaller than a 1/8" iirc

So do most people just run the adapter because I've never seen anything beyond it being a "plug n play" set up?!

Like I said it works for some doesn't for others. I didn't have great results so I changed it. Some people may not even know they have a problem. I personally didn't like the way it was working with the stock nipple and saw a great improvement when I changed. The volume of air required is much more than 2 stock bov's. Tial makes one of the best bov's but when not set up correctly may cause more harm than good

Well what the hell, I'll be working on my car probably all day anyway... hahaha it was hard to tell from that pic, did you just tap the manifold or is what I'm looking at that brass piece on the map?

sorry heres a better picture. Yeah just drill and tap. It's plastic so it's pretty easy and in that location it's pretty thick. I've ran up to 26ish psi with no integrity issues.

I'm waiting for the 16th to order to get the black option. Does this come with something to close off the meth tap, if you aren't going to run meth?

I've got an early 7" VRSF FMIC, which didn't include outlet piping. Will the CP include piping to replace the OEM rubber elbow and plastic pipe?

Based off the pics that some people posted on the 1st and 2nd page looks like it comes with a silicon elbow. But maybe one of them and clarify this for you

We sold two versions of the original intercooler, one offered OEM connections and the other offered replacement 2.5" connectors. If you have the OEM connector version, you have to use the OEM connections. It's not the factory couplers that are restrictive, it's the actual diameter of the connector itself which is only 2".

The chargepipe is only going to include the upper charge pipe from the throttle body to where the lower chargepipe meets. Our newer FMIC offers an option for the lower charge pipe upgrade which in conjunction with our new CP, will replace all of the factory piping.
