Yes, you are correct, you do get a reduction in overall spring rate when going with stiffer bushings, but unless your car is making stock power, every little bit helps in the rear...even with respect just to straight line stability. Can't think of one person making more than ~400whp that's swapped over to M3 guide rods and not commented on how much more stable the rear feels from a dig, etc. |

Ok...but can't really think of any downsides and no, benefits are not just realized on modified cars. Again, zero downsides, easy to install, less deflection even under moderate load, and they're cheap! No brainer really...especially on cars with miles on them where the stock bushings are tired anyway.
