hello, I'm looking for help.
bmw e92 335i XDRIVE 09.2009

I did the following:

1. Removed physically the RDC module
2. VO setting $2VB - Removed
3. VO setting $265 - Added
4. FA Write - CAS , FRM

Either code defaults to CAS, KOMBI, DSC (I have BDSC), CIC or add the following code to the corresponding module if you do not wish to recode all the settings you changed from the defaults.

everything is done as described above.

CIC: RPA_CIC
aktiv
CIC: RDC
nicht_aktiv
CIC: RDC_SAFETY
nicht_aktiv

KOMBI: RDC_ALIVE
nicht_aktiv
KOMBI: MMI_ENA_RPA_RDC
aktiv
KOMBI: RDC_VERBAUT
nicht_aktiv
KOMBI: DSC_MIT_RPA_CC
aktiv
KOMBI: RDC_DISP_SWITCH
nicht_aktiv

BDSC: AUSSTATTUNG_RPA
aktiv

but i have Status: FTM system error!

I don't understand what I am doing wrong.
Maybe the problem is that I have xdrive? need to code another ecu?

Did you disconnect the rdc module? On 09 it will be in the trunk above the battery behind the liner in a white box.

That's not the RDC module. That's a receiver for the signal from the device in the wheel.

As sdbmw coding states, the module will be under the trunk liner a little above and a little on front of the battery. The module is housed in a white plastic rack that will also house the PDC module, if you have one.

I'd forgotten that the system was changed for cars after 9/2009. After 9/09, the receiver module and the control module are combined into one and this combined module is not located inside the car. It is described in several possible locations, the most common being under a rear fender liner. So if the device shown in your first picture was obtained by removing the right rear wheel and peeling back the fender liner, it probably is the combined RDC control and receiver module. If so, it's not clear to me why your module removal and recoding did not work.

The second picture you provided shows the white box inside the car, above and in front of the battery under the trunk liner. This is where the RDC would be in a pre-09 E90 - where it was in my 1/09 E90 335xi, a white rectangle wider and less long than the black one in your first picture.

Did you drive it for a short while to see if the tire pressure would register? And, did you make sure all tire pressures were the same?

Possibly a bad speed sensor for one or more wheels?

Here is a great video going over all the steps required for what jsanchez335 is describing. You don't have to do all the items he does in his FSW_PSW file to disable TPMS. Only need to set "RDC_ALIVE TO NICHT_ATKIV IN KOMBI".

Hello I am trying to do the same thing however, my car has 4 RDC units unlike the OP which just had one? Do I need to remove all of them? I have a 2009 335i xDrive

There is only (1) RDC module. There are multiple antennas. If you're looking to code out the TPMS system, you only need to disconnect the (1) RDC module that's in the trunk behind your battery.

Just FYI, there may be other modules in that area/tray, but, there is only (1) RDC module.
