E93 Leaking Roof/A Pillar Rear Right

So it was pouring down with rain this morning and as I was turning in to a road I noticed water on the inside!!!! Not sure where the leak is coming in through but I get droplets in the rear pillar between the cloth part.
Blue bit below it where it is dripping from.
Anyone come across this before, is it a simple fix?

I had a similar problem, not sure if it'll work for you but I bought some 7mm silicone tubing and put it between the rubber seal. Worked perfectly and now no more leaks.

I was having a LOT of water ingress on both sides of the car.

I bought this - Silicone Sponge Cord SIL16 White

From here - www.silex.co.uk

Hope it works for you! Also, I have loads of the silicone tubing left if you have trouble sourcing it.

Thanks for the tip mate, will have a look and try figure out where it is coming from, looks like it might be the seal between the trim.

Hi there,

I Just Read An article about silicon foam tubing as a fix for roof leaks on E93. You posted some photos but it is not clear for me. I hope you can help me by explaining a bit better where to put the silicon foam tube exactely. I am having leaks bij the windows when washing the car or pressure washing it, also at the rear corners of the roof where the folding fabric/headliner is. Sorry for the poor english . I live in holland.

Thanks in advance, Regards Frans
