I think it took about 3 week. I remember ordering it and it took so long that by the time I received the package i was wondering what I ordered.

Looking for a new place to host files, any suggestions?

Umm unless you have a 10 year old computer with a serial port I don't think that will work. A VGA port will not work either.

So has anyone figured out if the enthusiast version of the BT scan tool will work with this? I'm assuming different drivers are necessary.

From China,

You'll need to buy a Serial - USB adapter too.

This only supports K-Line and K-Line seems to have disappeared in 3/2007. I got the info below from their description.

Features :

- Connects to RS232 com port
- Double K-Line support by two Motorola MC33199 K-Line drivers
and logic gates
- Battery voltage detection by RS232 control line
- Ignition voltage detection by RS232 control line
- Switchable K-Line pullups by RS232 control line

When I plug in the BT Tool I see a message indicating a "Durametric Diagnostic USB Driver" is installed.

When I go to the Durametric web site, it looks much like the Bavarian Technic web site.

I tried using the BT Tool and I got a Chassis error, which seems to indicate it does not connect or recognize my car. It might work if a different driver were used, but my guess is that the firmware in the BT Tool won't allow other drivers/programs to be used with it.

I'm trying to use the do-it-auto EDIN K-CAN USB Interface with no luck

I get the attached error message trying to connect to my E92 M3 using INPA and the E90 section and trying to connect to the Airbag.

I get the battery and Ignition circles to go black indicating that its connected!

Windows 7, using INPA v5.0.2; Ediabas V6.4.7

Any ideas?

This is actually the cable that I was looking to buy. I believe it comes with a 1-year warranty and I was assured it would work correctly by one of the managers of the site. Disappointing it doesn't work.

I'm hesitant to buy the eBay cable due to what i've read here: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...highlight=dcan

Can someone please confirm if the cable provided by xxxjecxxx and the ebay cable are exactly the same and will work on a MY2008 E90?

xxxjecxxx's link: http://www.carparts-sale.com/new-edi...face-p-34.html

eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-E...ht_4223wt_1360

If the cable doesn't work or if they are the same then I need to cancel my order from CARPARTS-SALE and get it from eBay. The difference is ~$30 and I rather pass that $$ to xxxjecxxx!
