Not yet, its not here.
You can change it from the front, just need to make a bolt snug into the block.

Im pretty pumped. It will be ready for racing next wknd. Putting the 6266 on as it launches pretty hard compared to the 7675. Roll racing is only 200m so 7675 will be to laggy.

Do you have the anti-lag module for the JB4? If so, have you tried it with the 7675 and powerglide to see if it builds the boost right up and launches the car from a 40 km/h roll?

Yes, Yes it works but 6266 makes more torque at the boost levels tested.

6266 fries tyres 7675 goes fast.

Welded up manifold new bung position and covered holes from the previous wastegate.

Installed manifold and started making wastegate off the exhaust housing. Fair bit of work in it took me most of the day.

Weld it up tomorrow then make downpipe and wastegate pipe.

Got steel in my eye off to hospital to get them to flick it out with a needle.

Did a bit more today. Day 4 update

Welded vband to exhaust housing. Heated it up then welded the vband on housing. Wrapped it up so it cools down slowly. I just opened it up half a day later and its still too hot to touch do its worked.

Put a bit of the front end back on and most of the wiring.

I am just going to install 1 trans oil cooler as it takes ages to get up above 65 degrees. Doing wot runs back to back and trans brake launches it doesnt get over 75-80 anyway so 1 should be enough.

Aiming to make the dump pipe and wastegate pipe tomorrow and have turbo in place.

Photo current progress

Worked all day 7-5.
Made dump pipe and blocked off old wastegate hole.
Ceramic Painted wastegate
Wastegate plumbing started but not complete

Doesnt look like much done but it was difficult to get the dump pipe made to line up with v band perfect. Easier to make a new one.

Theres bugger all room to put a screamer pipe.

A few ways you can do it.

Behind steering shaft like outlet pipes but needs vband half way. Straight down towards steering end link then S bend back halfway down to follow exhaust but needs v band half way. Straight down between steering end link rubber shield but need to make custom oval shape to clear water pipe.

Im thinking straight down and make the 50mm tube into a 40mm oval tube to clear water pipe. Or I can re do the water pipe and have a nice 50ndmm pipe straight down.

Not sure yet.

Few photos from today

Out the bonnet would be epic. Imagine it'd attract the wrong kinda attention though. What's it like in the NT with the cops Brûlé? Relaxed like most Territorians ?

I dont think they target modified cars here. Yes everythings pretty relaxed overall.

Wastegate will be facing down. Not sure where but down somewhere.

Made a pipe.
Had to cut 10mm out of the depth of the pipe about 300mm long then squashed it back.

Here it is.

Ready to weld up tomorrow.

Not to much more work, maybe 10 hours or so.

Bugger all room.
Need some heat protection for steering boot and power steering into the steering shaft.

If it starts burning stuff I might have to plumb it into the downpipe at the top.

Have you stuck a thermostat on the trans cooler lines? Improved racing makes a good one, will get it up to temp quick.

Pretty happy how the new turbo setup turned out.

Its only a short list now.

Turbo and Wastegate are on and ceramic painted.
Changed vacuum lines so they are nice an short.
Intercooler pipes are vack on tightened up.
Meth nozzle installed.
Made a snug bt for starter motor so this never happens again.
bonnet clip things and cables back on and work bonnet closes nice.
power steering done
bit of wiring underneath, tighten fuel and trans

Outstanding list...
Shifter cable to trans 10 mins work
Starter motor 30 mins
Coolant tank
few sensors under intake manifold 30 mins
Front bar 30 mins

Thinking of putting the 2nd trans cooler back on as I will be racing Sunday
Heap of fluids to sort out, engine, trans, power steering, top up brake fluid
Set Fuel regs maybe delete radium fuel reg if possible

I guessed 5 hours work then went back out for an hour.

Cant wait to FN Rip it!!!!
