E93 Trunk Space
Hey E93 owners,
I am seriously considering an e93 but the trunk space looks awful. Anyone think I could fit a 12" sub in the back or would that be a bit ambitious? I live in Kansas and the top will be up most of the time, so I may be able to take out the sub during summer months but it would be ideal to have it in the trunk year round.

Former E93 owner. I've never understood why people with convertibles add subs. You will lose most of the audio quality when the top is down. When the top is up, I can only imagine the amount of rattle emanating from the trunk. Dynamat would be your friend here.
To answer your question, yes; you can get a sub in there as long as the sub requires a small/sealed box. Just my opinion, doesn't mean it's right, that's a lot of work for very little pay off. Have you explored under the seat options? |

You can fit the sub in there in a box laying down if it’s slim or even standing up against the rear seats.
Trunk space is ok in the e93 with top up. Less than ok with the top down. Nearly impossible to reach anything that’s past the first 10” from the rear of the trunk with the top down. |

Audio sub forum above . Generally speaking all the BMW stereo systems are crap. In relations to the price of the car. I was in a Chevy spark rental that had a better system than the Hi Fi or Base system. |

I feel that. I've heard a ton of systems throughout the years. In my opinion, it all depends on available trunk space and what you are looking for. I've had 10's, 12's and 15's. I loved my dual 12 set up and my single 15 was just ridiculous. Available space is always the kicker.
