Have a few new things going on.

Replaced the sender and the lpfp. No more gas smell in the cabin. I did manage to not seat the LPFP correctly and ended up dumping a few gallons on the ground.

Temporarily dyed my visors because they were horrible.

Started on my rear seat delete. Got quite a bit of it figured out. I actually like having it open though. We will see what I end up doing. I’m going to make plans for a half cage.

Got some photos from cars and coffee at my friends shop. I desperately need to fix my bumper booboo from some jerk in the parking lot.

Did some more weight reduction.

Cowl, rear seat tops misc bolts and brackets.

I will be using the factory fold down option still. I’m trying to figure out the best material to use now.



Over 70lbs out of the vehicle. I can feel a difference oddly enough. Now just to do the rear brakes and bumper supports and front seats. Should be right around 3180 after that. Goal was 3200 lbs, 400whp. Should be a fun combo.

Finally added the color matched stripe and re-cleared the spoiler. Have a few more updates and a lot of things “in process”.

Got a gearbox malfunction today as well Too bad I left my laptop across town at my girls place.

Did a quick test fit again. Seemed to have warped a little. Still fits pretty well though. This hardly had anything securing it. I love the look. I’ve been wanting to do this since I painted the car. Sides of the hood are next.
