Euro Headlights - E90 Pre-LCI - Several Questions

Hey guys. First of all thank you for clicking on the thread to help me

I have several questions, my current headlights are absolutely awful - they have that Orange filament inside and it's ugly as sin. Additionally, there is moisture on the INSIDE and restoration doesn't appear to be an option any longer.

1) Does anyone know a place where I can pick up Euro Headlights a bit cheaper? OEM ones are like 1000+ for the set.

2) Swapping them over to Euro style, do these need to be coded? Is there anything custom that needs to be done or is it plug and pray?

Please let me know!

Swapped xenon to euro oem xenon and no coding needed.

It is almost impossible to find a good deal.

For the price of buying an OEM euro set (unless you get a good deal), I'd perhaps look into customizing your own set instead. While open you can address any other issues too.

Halogen to xenon is NOT a direct swap.. Wattage is different you would need to get some CANBUS ballasts to step down the wattage.

Sorry for the confusion. I already have bi-xenon / HID OEM headlights but they are just the US-spec ones with the orange fillament.

Good to know that it's a direct swap with no coding needed. One less headache! Thank you for the replies.

They are a automotive recycler just like the ones here in the US.... but everything is euro.

I've bought a euro light switch ($45), euro air filter ($150) and euro tail lights ($140) for my E91 from them and I've always been happy.

So, yes "Euro" parts without the USA "Euro" part price.

Schmeidman was awesome when I was looking for a underseat fire extinguisher mount. I'd order from them anytime for those hard-to-get/euro-only items.
