It is literally the smart advice. If he had asked what should i get if i want a bmw to get back and forth to work. I dont care about power. A 328i would be the correct answer.
You're falling into the trap. Thankfully, the OP knows better than engage with your trolling.

We're done here.

It won't. The stock sport suspension is perfect IMO for daily use. I had 2 people this week ask me if my car was lowered. .

Getting new shocks and struts will help ensure it doesn't bottom out. You'll need to go over some serious bumps to really bottom it out. Even then, your bump stop will take care of it.

If you get Bilsteins you'll never bottom those suckers out. They're built like a tank. Ride a little rough though. IMO I'd get Koni Special Active Dampers if I had to do it again.

I think I mean on the bump stops. The back is on Bilstein touring shocks. Would it be best if I did the same in the front and see what happens from that? Then add maybe springs later........

Idk it was a one time thing so maybe I can just see how the car reacts on the same correr. Then go from there before jumping to conclusions.

100% agree with everything you just said. Including the Konis.

I second that one...I understand I’m an older guy now, but I think from an aesthetics perspective alone I wouldn’t want it any lower.

With the stage three intake manifold what would be the best way to know if it is the stage three intake manifold?

Right because everyone with a 335i is constantly breaking down and spending thousands of dollars every week to keep it running

The 3 stage intake manifold has 2 DISA valves on/in it. The standard one has none.

Here are a couple of pics to help. The DISA valves are the blocky looking units (large DISA in the top pic, small DISA in the bottom pic) attached to the manifold.

Cheers!

Check out the NA engine forum. There's been a million threads on it lately.

Shake the flap itself with your hand, it shouldn't have ANY play. Then load up INPA and check to see they open and close FULLY and QUICKLY. Any sign of a lethargic flap should be replaced with genuine BMW only. Aftermarkets have been tested and were no good.

What about Dorman? I replaced my E46 DISA valve with a Dorman and it was excellent.
