2011 335is M/T owners?

I'm currently in a 07 335 auto with paddles and considering a new 11 335is. Only issue it's a stick. Couldn't find a new 2011 with DCT.
I would like feedback from anyone with the 335is M/T. Are you happy with the stick? Please share your thoughts, thanks in advance.

Shouldn't it only matter if you're happy with a MT?

Have not purchased it yet. I would like to get feedback on the M/T from people who have a 335is!

You might want to post this in the main forum. This ordering/pricing/buying forum is less active.

I have a brand new 335i in stick and I adore it. The stick shift in the 335 is so much easier to get along with than the stick in the M3.

If you really want to enjoy the car to it's fullest extent, then you have to get it with a manual transmission.

I've had my MT for 3 years now and haven't regretted it for a second, even in miserable LA traffic.

Thanks for your feedback. I think I agree with the enjoyment aspect!

I had a demo for a weekend and I felt the jerky feeling a few times in stop and go traffic. I thought it was just me and the lack of a clutch for 4 years!

I'm glad to hear you wouldn't change it for the world. Thanks for the note.

Love my M/T 335is and do not regret getting a manual for a second. Modified CDV will take care of the jerky 1-2 shift.

Thanks for all of the comments. Took delivery of a 6 speed M/T 335is yesterday. Love it!

Would you expand on the "modified CDV"? Thanks in advance.

I bought my used 2011 335is with M/T two weeks ago and have no regrets. I traded my 2009 335 X-Drive that had the slushbox. I love the feel of a M/T in a BMW (my wife has a 2007 M Coupe and mine is much more smooth and I "think" it has a shorter throw as well. Congrats!
