Pennzoil Euro L :: bmw LL04
Hey guys, I want to ask around if anyone has tried this and the smoke at startup went away ? It’s been 3500 miles and I don’t see any smoke on startup now, before even with liqui moly it would emit a puff at start up sometimes.. if it’s the oil that doesn’t fine as much then heck I’ll put this in the Audi as well though it’s not vw507 approved but I want to avoid leaking gaskets
Also it’s $22 a jug at Walmart

Euro L is a terrific oil. I doubt it has any effect on smoke at startup though. My car doesn't noticeably smoke at startup in warm weather, but puts out a large puff when it's cold.

How does Pennzoil Platinum Euro L compare to Castrol EDGE 5W-30 C3 for $25/jug?
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Pennzoil-...5-qt/495194903 https://www.walmart.com/ip/Castrol-E...5-QT/111745126 Wasn't able to find the ash content for the Euro L.

Mine does the exact same. I bought mine during winter, but now that I don't puff smoke on startup in the summer, I'm not so sure it's the valve seals. I assumed it was the valve seals during the winter.

I thought it’s the pcv, oil vapors accumulating and condensed into oil when cold out, when we start turbo pulls the oil in (pcv allows turbo to suck into intake) and cause a puff of smoke
