E90 18X9.5 fitment help

Hello all,
I have an E90 pre lci 07 335i. I want to get a square set of 18X9.5 wheels ET35 for all four wheels. I plan on putting BC Racing coil overs on the car. Don’t plan on doing a big brake kit. Will I need camber? Also will I need any fender rolling or anything? Tire size recommendations?? I’m very new to this and don’t wanna mess up thank you :-) ps the wheels I want are the Apex EC-9’s 😍😍 such beautiful wheels

I would recommend doing the coil overs first, let it settle to the final ride height and then figure out the proper tire and wheel combination. The coil overs will be adjustable so I'd try to avoid adding camber or spacers and simply buy a tire and wheel combo that actually fits. If you want a square setup, I'd guess that 235/40/18 would be a good place to start researching.

Thank you for the kind words! I'd recommend going with 18x9" ET31 all around unless there was a very specific reason requiring you to use 9.5" wheels. The 18x9.5" ET35 works great on the rear, but up it will definitely need spacers with your coilovers as well as aggressive negative camber in order to fit the proper 265/35-18 tire.

The 18x9" ET31 with 255/35-18 all around is a tried-and-true direct fit (aside from minor fender liner rubbing on 335is models), and is our recommended square fitment. It also has the same concavity as the 9.5" ET35 so you'll get the same look as well.

How aggressive of a camber are we talking because I was thinking around negative 2-3 degrees

-2.0º to -3.0º is about the range you should plan on. Even then, there will likely be more adjustments and tweaking needed to completely eliminate rubbing.

No worries at all! 18x9" ET30 will actually sit 1mm more aggressive, but adds 11.4mm of inner clearance, which means no spacers are required to clear coilover suspensions. This makes the 18x9" ET30 a much easier and cost-effective fitment while retaining the same concave aggressive look as the 18x9.5" ET35.

I ended up going with the 18X9’s it was easier to fit and looked just as good! No running or anything ever happened. Ran the setup for a while
