335i e90 lci tuning??

First off I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas. As the title says I own a 2010 335i e90 and I'm content with where it's at aesthetically. I am now looking into an exhaust, intake and intercooler upgrade and I'm new to the n54 tuning world because my last car was a scion tc making 341 whp and I knew the car up and down and how to work on it. With the n54 when and what do I need to tweak the ecu? I know just an exhaust alone won't require anything, but will an exhaust and intake? And also factor in a larger intercooler as well. Please hook me up with any good tuning info and thanks.

Flash tuning options are Cobb and OpenFlash Tablet and piggyback options are JB4 and Procede.

There are a couple others but these are the main tunes that are used on this platform. You can get a tune, intake, FMIC and DP's for under $2k and be making around 360 rwhp.

Good info man, thanks. Does the n54 generally respond well to more power?
I'm located all up in the corner of the panhandle, stationed at Eglin, AFB. I have a good friend down there at Macdill with an e46 m3.

Oh yeah! If you have access to E85 you will be making really good power. The guys at PTF did a protune for me with E45 and I dyno'd at 430 a couple of months ago. Where are you in FL?

I edited my post above must have been too late, lol. I'm up in the panhandle near Pensacola. E85 isn't readily available near me it's pretty Podunk, hahaha.

Ok. If you were local I was going to offer you a ride to see if you like my Cobb tune from PTF. With 93 octane PTF could get you a custom tune and get you close to 400 whp.

These cars respond very well to tuning. If I were you I would choose a tune to get you up to around 320 whp then add a dual cone intake, FMIC, DP's and exhaust in this order. The factory exhaust is solid and an aftermarket exhaust is the worse bang for buck mod for this car.
