Duraflex M3 body kit?

Anybody running this m3 aftermarket body kit. I know duraflex was pretty reputable for hoods on my fbody car but i was wondering if anyone is running these kits

http://www.ebay.com/itm/390480950383...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

I know it says slight modification. Wondering what that entails.. Anyone have experience with this kit? I even found it for half price...

Does the front bumper work with stock 335 fenders or will i need the widebody m3 fenders..

I honestly want the liberty walk bolt on fenders but i dont know where to find them or what wheel fitment to go with. Ill be purchasing gts m3 18" repros

Avoid fiberglass, especially when we have cheap and higher quality alternatives. You can piece together a better quality kit for cheaper if you do a little searching.

+1

I won't pretend to have experienced it first hand myself, but from everything I read, I'm sort of glad I didn't need to.

Duraflex is a fancy name for Fiberglass
Which is a fancy name for Breaks Badly.

This is the video the guy was talking about - which would seem to be about as authentic as the female actor's own...uhm... body kit.

From a Duraflex distributor (Duraflex is a brand owned by Extreme Dimensions) - FRP = Fiberglass:
"Duraflex is not a urethane like material and does not flex like urethane or plastic bumpers. Duraflex is a fiberglass reinforced plastic product (FRP) which utilizes a proprietary resin formula that resists shatter and cracking better than traditional fiberglass body kits produced in the late 1990's and early 2000's. (so...uhm... it's better than stuff made 15 years ago? Like when Blackberry, Bluetooth and Napster were invented...?) This method of FRP manufacturing results in a stronger more durable product that is not as prone to damage from being flexed mildly. Some Duraflex products will be more flexible than others depending on the complexity of design and the amount of vents and compound as well as convex shapes the part has."

What alternatives would you be refering to? My front bumper is very worn from road debries and i would like to put a full m3 kit on it (minus the rear bumper.)

Anything but Fiberglass!

Look for ABS, Polyturethane (PU), or Polypropylene (PP) - I believe in that order, depending on who you ask - all quality alternatives readily available on the market. Depends on who you ask as to which one is "OEM" quality (I've heard votes for all 3 from different reliable sources... maybe it depends on the OEM?).

Just avoid Fiberglass, Duraflex (which is Fiberglass), and FRP (which is the non-brand-name of Fiberglass - like "Facial Tissue" is to "Kleenex").

Duraflex is just a marketing name for good old shit fiberglass - don't put that crap on your car, get some decent urethane plastic stuff!

Look up on ebay seller selmausa or selma auto restyle. They sell complete m3 conversion kit for your car and they are made of oem materials (PP and PU). Based on the reviews on their sales page seems like their fitment is pretty good.
