Most meat on e92?

I did a search, but only wide wheels came back. What's the widest TIRE that you can fit under an e92 non-M. I've seen 275/30-19. Anyone fit wider? 285? 295? 315 maybe?

I think mainly will be 265 at rear, not many people go with 275. Personally, I wouldn't go over 275.

Depends on the tire, but I'm running 295/25/20 Hankook V12's on my E92. And the car is lowered on KW V3's. Had to roll the fenders a fair amount for them to fit, but no rubbing after that. On big dips, I rub a tiny bit on the carpet/felt liner, but I haven't cut it out yet which some people do. I have enough room to run a 305 if I chose, but it would rub slightly. I've tested spacers with the 295's so I know there's more room. It's very close on the inside, my rear struts have been flattened slightly so the rim clears (not the body but there is a lip).

I believe robc is running 295 PSS on his E90 and those run bigger than Hankook's.

I have 275/30/19 on the rear on the factory 230 style rims.

I haven't had any problems.

The problem also is finding the correct ratio to get a 285 or 295 to fit correctly. 295/25/19s would be a closer circumference but where would you find this size that isn't so freaking expensive...

FWIW, before the 295's went on, I was running 285/25/20 Nitto Invo's with no fender mods and it didn't rub. Nitto's run pretty small though, the Hankook's are noticeably bigger - more than the 10mm difference in width would suggest. Same ride height on both sets of tires.

A buddy of mine ran 285/25/20 on the rear wheels of his E93 with no issues. I do not believe he had any fender rolling done, either.

I'm running 275/35/18 rear, 245/40/18 front. Could possibly squeEze a little more in the rear without rolling or dialing camber in. The 245 is everything for the front, rubs very lightly at full lock.

Depends on wheel specs 275 on a 10" wheel fits about the same as 295 on 11" wheel. Also depends on the offsets you want as little inner clearance as possible. It is definitely possible to fit a 295 or wider.

FWIW, I'm 99% sure I saw an old post where someone put a 20" 305 in the rear on his E92. But it wasn't dropped.

I've measure so I know there is room if you're willing to live with some rubbing. My fenders are rolled about as far as they will go, there is a slight pull. The fender lip flares out a tiny bit. The worst rubbing was at the bumper junction and I rolled that area flat as well. I believe robc cut his out. I'm not sure if that junction is different on the E92 vs. E90. Even with a 295 tire, there is ~ 20 mm between edge of tire and edge of fender. That's of course static and the edge of the tire is the narrowest part, but there is room for a bigger tire. I would need to add 5mm spacer for strut clearance and then the tire adds another 5mm or so; it would fit though.

may i ask what exactly you are trying to achieve by putting the widest tires? is it for grip? for the wide tire look? or just for the sake of saying "hey look im running really wide tires" ?

reason i ask is because you can can go pretty wide by adjusting camber, rolling/pulling fenders, playing with wheel offsets/widths, but depends on the purpose. no point in having a 295 rear tire if you have to put a lot of camber and have half the tire not even touching the ground.

im running 275/30/19 PSS in the rear with 19x10 et30 wheel. but i have shaved fenders, and i get no rubbing at all. my friend did the same setup but with 275/30/19 Yokohama AD08 and he rubs slightly.

So do mine, I'm at -1.8 camber which isn't much at all and within spec. I decided to get 295's since I needed new tires and I was spinning 285's sometimes because of the open diff. Same price so why not.

This isn't the stance thread so I don't think anyone here is going to run crazy camber just to fit a wide tire. And I don't know about you, but I see very few stanced cars running wide tires to begin with. Wide wheels sure, but never a wide tire. Short of a widebody, I don't see how you could get much more than a 305 in there even with a ton of camber. You can fit a wide wheel in there since the lip will sit outside of the body, but you're forced to stretch the tires. But if you actually put a wide tire in there, it would stick way past the body and be ridiculous and that's even with a ton of camber.

100% stock I am running 245/30-19 front and 265/35-19 rear on 230s. My only regret is that I didn't order 275s for the back, but I didn't know that I'd be offered the 245s for a good price. Specific tires are Conti DWS.

The ride is soooo much better than with the 'stones and the back end comes around a lot less on bumpy corners as well.

How much clearance do you have on the inside? If you have another half inch on the inside you could do 10.5et42 with 305/30/19 or 305/25/19.
