Changing wheels to 225/40/18 and 265/35/18

Hey guys just needed some tips on if changing my current wheels (235/40/18) with square setup to staggered set up (front - 225/40/18 and rear - 265/35/18) would cause any problems for my 2007 328XI Coupe. I do have HR lowering springs on it so I would appreciate any help regarding fender rolling, in case I have to do that with the new setup. Or should it be fine without rolling? My other option is the go with 235/40/18 front and 255/35/18. Please let me know which would look and perform best. Thank you.

You haven't posted the wheel offsets so it's impossible to know if you need to roll your fenders.

That's not the factory, and is running right up close to the 1% recommended difference in f/r sizes (factory rear is 255/35R18). Probably work, but ... there's a reason that square setups are preferred on xDrive cars.

I wonder why do they do that on 3,5 series while the X5 always comes staggered....

No they don't...

OP, the stock tire sizes 225/40/18 & 255/35/18 are best. If you want to go up a size, 235/40/18 & 265/35/18 would be better for your xDrive system than 225/40/18 & 265/35/18 as the difference in rolling diameter is smaller.
