Goodbye Acura RSX Base Auto - Hello German Engineering!!!
Got my 2005 base auto brand new almost 10 years ago. Always hated the fact that I couldn't mod it like RSX Type-S owners with I/H/E/Kpro ECU. It is a great car and I'll be keeping it as my daily driver. It is still going strong with 105k miles.
Now it is time for an upgrade!!! 2012 335is convertible with 18k miles in space gray, fully loaded except for HK, with DCT. Handles like a DREAM after I got rid of the run flats and upgraded to Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Also got an escort 9500ix mount and hardwire installed. Also installed a Macht Schnell stage 1 intake kit and now can hear the lovely turbo spool when on boost. I cannot wait to start the rest of the modding process and hang out here more often rather than being just a lurker. Happy holidays!! |

Nice looking E93.
Put 100K more miles on both cars. Then tell us if you prefer German or Asian Engineering. Prior to my E91, I had a 2001 Acura Integra GSR which I bought new. Kept it for 120K miles. Never did anything but basic, scheduled stuff! Amazing little car. |

Sexy car dude. I used to have a 2004 RSX type s back in the day. I really wanted the 335is but couldn't find one so I settled on the 335. Hope you put some sweet mods in that bad boy.

Welcome to the club Also you should keep the RSX as a project car or just for daily beater. I used to drive that for a year and really loved its handling. I remember revving that thing over 5000rpm daily and never had any problems with it. Good o' memories
