That must have been a real shock. At 5mph she can get bad bruises and knocks, but nothing too severe.
Hope she turns out ok, Steve. Check-up will let you know. If she's younger she'll mend and bounce back quicker. D.

Man Steve, least she is ok! Hope she gets better soon.
Me and a mate took out a badger tonight on the way home from work, he went over it, ripped off his splitter and i went over it also.

Never nice, I ran into a kid in my old BM and sent him skidding down a wet road - he just got up, when I went to offer help, he told me to "fuck off" - which was nice.
BTW - it was his fault, he just ran straight in front of the car. Hope the neighbour is ok.

Its a shock at first, but no-one was seriously injured so it will soon be forgotten.

Sounds like she'll be ok, that's the main thing. Will probably play on your mind now though, try forget about it as soon as!
How daft wondering around at night in all black though, hardly surprising this happened, not your fault at all!

Ouch! It must have been a helluva shock for you both. Having seen the thread title though I feared the worst before looking, so I'm gald it wasn't too bad.
Hope that the hospital gave her the all clear, no doubt after hours in A&E and that you and the car are ok.

Good that no one was seriously injured, you did the right thing to stop and check her out at the hospital.

I guess it could have been a lot worse, as could either party. Hopefully niether were damaged, but at the end of the day, a car is repairable.
