MS-8 in 2009 E90 with HIFI - issues with sirus satellite cutting in/out rear speakers

So I finally calibrated and adjusted the MS-8 to a point where I feel it sounds good.
Overall the center speaker dominates. Not sure if it is the quality of center I chose ( Kenwood KFC-1065S )

I saw a lot of recommendations for the DLS Reference 424, Vibe Slick 4 and others in this thread , but most are discontinued / hard to find.

In order to get the sound where I like it I reduced the Center by 2 clicks and faded the sound 2 clicks in the MS-8 menu.

Any other recommendations for center speaker options would greatly be appreciated.

These are 3 that I found that have silk tweeters and *should* fit the center opening:
Image Dynamics CTX-4
Alpine SPS-410
NVX VSP4

Also, listening to Sirius the rear speakers cut in and out with the Logic 7 on. Turn Logic 7 off and the speakers are fine. Also no issues with L7 on using radio/CD/ipod. I know Sirius sounds the worst anyway, but is this the norm? Is it my setup?

Thanks

My current setup:

- CH1 = Left front
- CH2 = Right front
- CH3 = Left rear
- CH4 = Right rear
- CH5 = Center
- CH6 = Left woofer
- CH7 = Right woofer
- CH8 = Not used

Suggested setup:
- skip input setup
- Sub = 2, subsonic at 50Hz at 18dB slope, low pass at 175Hz at 12dB slope
- Front = 1-way
- Center = 1-way, 175Hz at 18dB
- Sides = 1-way, 175Hz at 18dB

Calibration volume = -25dB
Main volume after calibration = -10dB (gong was too loud any higher IMO)

Audio Adjustments after calibration MS-8:
Logic 7 & Processing: ON
Sub +2
Fade +2 rear
Center -2
EQ: adjusted to flatten out gaps using a Real Time Analyzer app

The way L7 works is that normal (in phase) sounds are played through the rears at -6dB, room reverb type sounds (those out of phase) are routed to the rear only at full volume to present a sound stage. Works great with uncompressed but i suspect that the compression of sirius is negatively impacting the phase information between channels.

Yeah, its surely the compression on the sat radio....removing a lot of the stereo and out of phase info from the signal...The MS-8 making it more obvious due to the way it splits out the different parts of the signal....

Ok, that makes sense,

In my 2010 I had before with stock L7 that did not happen with Sirius. I did read though that the ms-8 is more 'aggressive' in stereo separation than the BMW version.
