Is this headlight wiring diagram accurate?

I found this in a different thread made by another member, and I am wondering if it's accurate for an 08' e90.

I need to tap the highbeam wire for the "Flash2Pass" system, and if this is correct it will save a shitload of time.

Anyone have a shop manual handy? Anyone tapped the highlight beam wire before?

Any help is appreciated.

That diagram is correct for my car which is an 07. Not sure if they changed anything but I don't see why they would have. You should be fine. You could always test that pin with a test light to see.

Thanks guys.

I'm at work w/o the car in front of me, but looking at that schematic, does the pic represent one looking at the front or the back of the molex?

when you see the car you will see there is only 1 way it can be, from the front you cant see anything. It is from the inside of the engine bay, looking toward the front bumper.

Ya, I'm pretty sure I saw that connector when I was checking the light last night.

But my question is, looking at the diagram above, does that diagram represent looking at the plug from the front (where it connects to the light), or looking at it from the back, where the harness from the car enters the plug?

oh, from the back, by the harness. There is one little plastic cover piece. When you remove it, it is obvious that is what the diagram is describing.

What are you trying to activate when you put your high beams on? A little led light on the front bumper that will say in reverse, GO AHEAD

I have tried to install a Flash2Pass using this diagram on my 08 335 na dit failed. I alternately used both the ground (2 and 4) but no success.

I powered the transmitter through the battery and that workesd, so there is nothing wrong with the transmitter.

If anyone has an accurate wiring diagram, please post it

Thanks

I'm not sure, but if it is you just saved me a TON of time.

I do see something wrong with it though (but I have an e92) #5 is the angel eyes for me.

But to help out, you can figure out the orientation because the positive wires will be yellow and the grounds black. Of the main wires that is.

might help in some way too.

Where did you get that by the way, is there an e92 one in the same place?

I did exactly what your instructions said.

Tapped into the same wires as you but no success.

There has to be something wrong with mine
