Location of the washer fluid pump on an 07 328xi...help?

Hello -

I've been having the low washer fluid message constantly on all summer along with the washer fluid leak in my garage, but before I bought the pump I wanted to make sure it's in fact the pump. My leak is under the passenger side FRONT wheel well...between the wheel well and the right headlight. A lot of the threads/videos I came across are all for other cars which have the pump at either the driver's side front of the front wheel well or the passenger side back of the front wheel well.

This video pretty much shows the same leak as me, except mine is on the passenger side.

These all describe the tank and pump sitting together inside the back lining of the passenger wheel well:

Hoping someone chimes in and tells me that my car's pump is inside the front side of the passenger wheel well...

The tank and pump are on the passenger's side. I had the same leak and replaced the pump on my 2007 328i. The video you linked to is for a 5-series, so I assume that's why it's different.

The pump is on the back side of the wheel well. If you pull the wheel off and then the fender liner, you can access it. Look at where the fill nozzle leads to and you'll see it's on the back side.

Do you have headlight washers? Not sure how the fluid would get from behind the wheel to the front unless you had lines for headlight washers.

I missed the part about it being in front of the wheel. I agree that it sounds like a leaky headlight washer.

I don't have headlight washers. I'll take off the wheel and lining at some point in the next week and see whats going on. If the pump is in the back of the wheel well then it's probably some sort of hose that's leaking because i'm 99% sure the leaking fluid was windshield washer fluid not coolant. I'll report back with a few pics eventually.
