Didnt want to just cut the wires cause Im sure some sort of electrical fault code would appear and render my car useless, so i just tucked it away.

Finally put the insert in which makes it look a lot neater and allows better use of the space.
Also adds extra space as it sits a lot deeper.

My phone doesn't fit so it lies flat in the pocket as it is a little bit wider, but because it sits on one of the edges, it makes it so much easier to pick up lol

I dont have it man. I chucked it out with the rest of the cradle.
Besides, $15 plus postage would probably end up being around $25.
I paid less than $20 to have the insert delivered to my door.
Just order one. Literally takes 15 mins to do the first time. Less if you have done it before.

So today i ripped the jb4 out in preparation for an MHD flash.
I had a slight scare when i started the car and i had a transmission fault (3 seperate ones actually) for my dct.
But when i turned the car off and restarted, the faults went away.
EB89 is heading over tomorrow to help me delete the codes and flash the tune and we will see how we go ☺

So EB came over today and lent me a hand with getting the MHD flash done.
40 mins later and Stage 2 flash complete for stock fmic and catless dps.
Set the wastegate rattle fix to half, the exhaust burble to full aggressive (still have stock exhaust) and 1 sec for drive and 2 secs for sport.
Car already feels smoother with the jb4 ripped out and mhd flashed in.
I am one happy camper 😊

Cookies and fresh mountain water please

I have to say even with the stock muffler and mid pipe cats your setup is pretty nice sounding.

So not a lot has happend with my car for a bit, well nothing too interesting anyway.
Had an electrical issue which gave me a whole heap of errors and warnings and wouldnt allow me to connect to the dme to read codes.
Took it to the pros at Hills Eurohaus.
Turned out to be a faulty JBE which controls all communications to the electronic accessories.
2nd hand one sourced, fitted and codes to my car and no problems any more ☺
Got them to give the car a service and check over.
Next on the list when i get home from holidays is a new set of non run flats, and then a DCT service with new pan, filter and bolts, as i have a small leak from the gasket and oil is slowly weeping out.
Best to get it done before it causes any problems.
