custom suede headliner questions.
i want to change the whole headliner in my car for some black suede...how much would something like this cost and is it hard enough that i need someone to install it.

I'm with you man, but it might be easier and cheaper to wait for the new M3 (if you can stand that god awful beige roof, which looks like junk w/ the terra leather and black dash that I have). I'm assuming that it will have one, such as the new M5 as well as the Audi S4's. My VW also had the beige roof w/ black leather, and you had to get the special R32 or 20th anniv. to get a black roof (but not suede).

Um, I have no idea how much this would cost, but im thinking it would be cheapest if you went to a custom auto upholstery place and asked them if they could wrap the headliner in black suede (or fake suede).

I got a quote on this and am actually planning on doing it. The only problem that I am having is the fact that here in the US the anthracite headliner is not available and you can't get the black trim pieces like the plastic around the mirrors and the light consoles...
*edit* oh btw the quote I got was for about a grand... |
