WTBorrow: cable for MHD tune

Hi guys -

I'm heading to Laguna this weekend and really would like to get an MHD tune on my new-to-me 2010 335i before then. I've been thru two crap cables that didn't work, and the one I finally ordered from Bimmerfest won't be here in time.

I live in SF and work in Sunnyvale so I can get just about anywhere in the peninsula - is there anyone who has a known-good cable I could borrow, or even just use in your driveway?
