E92 M Performance Front Splitter

So I'm looking around for a front lip to eventually put on my E92 Lemans Blue Msport. The best looking one I've come across is the genuine BMW front splitter, part #: 51192159867. However I can't justify spending $600+ on it, as I'm likely going to beat it up since this will go on my daily driver.

Are there any options that look similar, but maybe are a replica instead of genuine BMW? I haven't had much luck in my search, and most of the other lips that I see available are just uuugly. Any help/opinions/options/comments appreciated!

I have the same performance lip. I love it. I painted it high gloss black metallic.

You can check out my pictures in the 335is owners thread in the photo section

The reason why I got it was obviously it's OEM and it compliments well with the m sport bumper.

If you're worried about wear and tear. You can have it clear bra or painted like I did.

I'm seriously considering getting this sometime soon as well. Funny I've never seen an aftermarket oem rep for the front lip, just the rear high kick spoiler. All other front lipside have been the arkym style

It's really worth it guys. But I hear you the price point steered me away. When I finally bit the bullet. The OEM fitment and craftsman ship of carbon fiber is beautiful.

I haven't found any aftermarket replicas either. I love the look so much more than any other option that i'll end up spending the money for OEM I'm sure. One day... one day.

The thing is expensive... And very nice.

Just installed mine today - see my build thread at http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=825243

Barely noticeable, but definitely a visual upgrade. I don't regret doing it.

OEM E92 performance front lip spoiler

i would of kept the carbon fiber but it gets boring. my mirror caps and kidney grills are also in the same color scheme.

sprayed in DYC high gloss top coat using holographic flakes, super smooth and super glossy

I am looking for something like this too, somewhere between the super subtle OEM and the more aggressive looking arkym version.

The Arkym lip is just too much for my taste. I don't really like the way it looks.

Thanks man! Its a very subtle mod. RVS put it in retrospect for me...it takes away from the 'angularity' of the front end and gives a more rounded aerodynamic look.

Haha I couldn't disagree with you, especially for the price point that it is and the 'lack' of material to be seen. Unless you knew it was there, average person driving down the street with you wouldn't know about it. But then again that's another reason for me that I do like it so much, being I have a black car blends it in a bit more also which sucks, any other color and it would stand out better. I think the Arkym lip looks great, just too much for me as a dd lol...different tastes
