2007 E90 335i won't start
Help needed!!! THANKS!
I have a 2007 E90 335i sedan and it won't start one night right after I came out of grocery store.all dashboard and lights seem working fine. called AAA and jump start the car, the car won't start either. After the car towed back home I disconnected negative cable for a few minute to clear IBS sensor and jump start with my own external battery with "normal" positive and negative terminals, the car still won't start, but it starts when I connected the external battery negative to engine oil cooler. and later on the red battery charging light came on, Is the alternator dead or my car has a ground issue? I have drawn (sorry but bad drawing) on a engine bay picture I downloaded from internet. |

cool man thanks for sharing this. My car would not start yesterday, not even using Tow truck as jump start. I tried jump started using the chassis and ground terminal but did NOT try using the engine oil cooler. ![]() What ground cable are you referring to? ![]() |
