Is there 1 wheel speed sensor that feeds the odo/speedo/etc?

On know on the e46 chassis it's the RR sensor that feeds the odo, speedo, ABS, DSC, etc. Unplug that one sensor, and the odo and speedo stop working, and all the lights for the systems come on as they're disabled.

Does the e90 have a similar "key sensor"? It's nearly impossible for me to fix my "no start in XX miles" issue if test drives keep inching me closer to total shutdown.

Not sure, but I can tell you it is definitely not the LR. Not seeing anything in the Bentley manual, have you pulled any codes?
