E90 LCI Heated Seat Retrofit
Just need a quick steer on my heated seat retrofit plans... I had assumed that I would need to remove my existing start/stop switch, and replace that switch panel with the heated seat one... like this (not mine):
But I see some of the later cars have this set-up: ![]() With that later set-up, what heppens to the switch panel with the start/stop switch? So as my car is April 2010 (E90 LCI), so which one should I go for - or doesn't it matter? |

Heated seats in & working - and very nice they are too. One thing regarding coding of these. They didn't work with simply adding $494 to the VO of the car, I needed to change one of the 'sitzheizung' parameters in the JBBF module to 'aktiv' instead of 'nicht_ackiv'. That did the trick & now they work perfectly.

When you added the $option to the vo, did you then code the JBBF? In ncs expert, you would run the sg_codeiren job. This should have enabled seat heating.
It sounds like you did it manually. |

I did run the sg_codieren job, but the seats still didn't work - hence the investigation of the JBBF module.
