Bimmerlabs flash and bms powebox together?
Hey guys just wondering if anyone runs the bimmerlabs free software alongside the bms powerbox? Btw this is for an n52 (07 328i e90).
For me, I feel like the bimmerlabs tune didn't really make any difference whatsoever. I ran the regular 328-330 flash for a while, and recently switched to the euro one that deletes the MAF and still no difference. Can the powerbox have anything to do with this? I've been advised to remove it if running the bimmerlabs tunes but no one could give me a reason why, other than "because that thing sucks". So I left it in, I personally like the powerbox for what it is. Thanks! |

Did you install a 3 stage intake manifold?

the BMS powerbox is completely pointless. I would remove it. Anything it changes will be adapted out anyway, and it messes with the fueling without having enough inputs to do it well.
As far as not feeling a difference, possibly your DISA valves are not working properly. |

I did not pre test the disas before I installed the manifold but I hand tested them and they didn't move. They were nice and tight. Also yes I have cleared all adaptations multiple times since everything's been installed |

actually, there is - I posted about it ages ago. It has something like 5 pins, 2 of which are power/ground. It just doesn't have enough inputs or outputs to actually change anything except WOT fuel and throttle senstivity - it doesn't even have an RPM input.
