Telephone button not available
Hi guys,
I just bought my first BMW, a 320i 2007 (executive). Having a few issues with the phone option in the menu, when I try select it, nothing happens. Now I know that the button to 'select' it works, as it works in other areas of the menu. I've looked all over YouTube, forums and the manual but can't work out how to enter this part of the menu. The old man had the same car a few years ago and had no issues. Anyone able to point me in the right direction? I've posted a picture of the menu I'm talking about.. I've also noticed everywhere I look this particular option has a 'phone' icon rather than 2 dashes like mine. Thanks in advance! |

Use a vin checker to find out if you have the phone option
installed. Even though there is a button on the steering wheel it does not mean the option is installed. Check for a TCU or Mulf module. http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...2&d=1260829447 |

Hopefully someone else has come across this issue before and found a fix. |

I believe 644 means bluetooth prep which is another way of saying only the wiring is installed with no module. |

I wouldn't bother with that .
this would be better. https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...ight=bluetooth Hmm this one seems slightly different than old one had both a usb port and and a sd port. Still looks like a good deal though. Like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bluetooth-A....c100005.m1851 or this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bluetooth-U....c100005.m1851 The old one had a SD and usb port did Bluetooth a2dp and Bluetooth phone I would verify that before buying. You will need Inpa/NCSexpert to enable it . Or is you really want OEM I would try to put in a mulf 2 hi which would give you USB as well. More programming and cabling involved.
