I have a 2011 328i LCI with Halogen lights.

The first thing I noticed when I bought the car is 1) the headlights appear slanted when shining up against a wall and 2) the driver side doesn't throw light nearly as far out as the passenger side and it makes it very hard to see at night.


I am thinking of putting in LED bulbs to help with the output, but I was wondering why the halogen appear slanted. Is that normal?

Also, what to do about the driver side light not shining out far enough?

1. My 2010(pre LCI) halogens are straight.
2. That's normal and done so to not blind on coming traffic...but, you might have a different problem if it's difficult to see at night.

Putting in LEDs won't help your dispersion problem. Are you sure their OEM headlights?

They appear to be OEM. I am not the original owner, but everything appears stock on the car.

Mine are oem as well and they are slanted.
