Feeler: 2009 BMW 335i Coupe in Porsche Miami Blue
I hate to say I am finally doing it, but I am putting up a feeler for my custom painted 2009 BMW 335i coupe. I am a student and live out of state most of the year, and the car spends most of its time covered and is driven once or twice a week. I am in no rush to sell, but I think it is time for me to move to something more practical. 78k miles. I know nothing about the history of the car from the previous owner, but I have a extremely detailed excel sheet explaining everything that has been done under my ownership. I have included some major points below. Ebay Motors: https://www.ebay.com/itm/254499286070 Major Mods: - Porsche Miami Blue paint job. Roof, door handles, and mirrors are painted black. The trunk has carbon showing on the top and in the license plate area and this was clear coated. The car was originally space grey, but I had the entire car repainted. Everything was painted including under the trunk, the door sills, most of the engine bay. The engine bay is the only place you can tell the car was once gray (see picture). I personally have always been a fan of the contrast. - OEM Mtech rear bumper - Amuse carbon fiber trunk lid - Aftermarket Mtech front bumper (fitment is pretty good) - M3 side skirts - LTMW quad diffuser with carbon fiber tips (muffler delete) - Megan racing coilovers. Car is pretty low at the moment. - ESR RF2 wheels w/ Hankook V12 tires 235/35/19 265/35/19 - Custom bavgruppe dtm headlight retrofit - ECS Tuning charge pipe and BOV (will include stock diverters for smog purposes) - Burger Motorsport DCI - Currently flashed with MHD stage 1 and will include wifi adapter Major Maintenance: - Transmission fluid change and lube guard added. - Replace water pump, thermostat, hoses, and bolts - Reseal engine oil filter housing - Replace engine belts and pulleys - Replace starter - Valve cover gasket and connected pipes - New spark plugs and ignition coils - New undercarriage panels, windshield cover, and lifting pads - BMW OEM rubber mats I don't want to list everything here, but if you have any specific questions, I am happy to provide more info. Cons: - World's tiniest radiator leak. I have had a tiny pinhole leak in the radiator for a year and have not had to add any coolant. My mechanic says it is not something to worry about. - Turbo seals will need to be replaced eventually. No issues at the moment, but my mechanic says I should keep an eye on them. - Scratch on the rear quarter panel. It is hard to find unless you know what you are looking for. - Interior is custom splatter painted. The center trim piece has a small cutout in it that was used to route cables for a tablet mount. It isn't really noticeable, but if you want to get rid of the splatter paint, you will fix that issue. - Two small dents on the dashboard - Driver seatbelt extender not extending - Have not gotten an alignment on new wheels and suspension. Tracks pretty straight, but should probably be done. - The wheel spec is aggressive for those who haven't driven a lowered car before. I have put roughly 20k in to this car and it has been absolutely babied under my ownership. It is always covered when not in use and is driven very gently. The first pictures show the new wheels, the black wheels are the old OEM wheels. There is nothing else different between the pictures. Again, I am in no rush to sell, and just kind of want to get an idea of interest and how much the car is worth. I haven't seen much similar on the forums, so I thought I would put it out there. If you are interested, please let me know and I am happy to discuss. I am out of town most of the time, but am happy to arrange something if you are really interested. Located in So Cal. Thank you! One of my favorite blue colors ever. Looks great on an E92.
GLWS!
