I have a pre-LCI 335i and I have a m3 style rear bumper that is going to be installed. I need to change my exhaust set up to run this bumper and I wanted to get rid of my secondary cats while I'm at it so I figured I'd look into getting the VRSF race exhaust and modify the muffler delete section of the exhaust to have quad tips in order to fit the new bumper. Will this work?

You'd also need to know the distance from the center of each exhaust pipe coming off the one muffler. Both distances should match exactly. I think you need 3.5" quad tips with a 2.5 rear opening. With it being a single muffler, you might have some wiggle room, on that the muffler. A muffler shop can cut off the pipes coming off the muffler & weld on a 90 or 45 degree elbow etc. |
