help with strut tower bolt
I just tried to install a strut tower brace on my 335, but it doesn't really fit even with spacers. When I installed the strut tower bolt back on, it wouldn't tighten. It will just spin. Any idea on how I go about getting it tightened, so I can tourque it back down? Thanks

I just put one on last night but didn't have to use spacers since I no longer have the OE airbox.
Does the bolt even start to thread?

It starts to thread. But then it just seems to spin, and not tighten. I can't even get it back off, because it will just spin in that direction. I hope I don't have to take off the plastic wheelwell lining to access it, and keep it from spinning.

It sounds like you may have cross-threaded it? You may have to try loosening it while applying upwards pressure to the bolt with a screwdriver, once it's out you'll know for sure.

those 3 bolts are not re-usable. You need to get new ones from local BMW.

Correct, he should have 1 new bolt and 1 new nut per side that came with the bar to replace the 2 per side he removed (but I assumed he knew that?):
