Urgent! Error code at the M5board event.

Hi All!

Yellow enginelight came on
Does any one know the what the Error code 114D and 42 is?

We need help.. and fast!

Sorry I don't. Did it disappear after starting the engine again? Howabout, trying bypass plugs? If its due to Procede, why not to try out the JB3 off that e91. You would need to kick the big guys' ass....

Mruggles in Vishnu forum has had the same code 114d, but unfortunately there is no answer or explanation of it in the forums. Not much information has been accumulated of the error messages as they are not handled in the forum - unfortunately.

114d is O2 sensor negative current or positive current control open circuit (bank 1 sensor 1).

Hi just arrived home from the event , i did get that code cruising att 55mph but i had full power all the time.
Does anyone know hat could cause the code and what the fix is?

Btw we had real fun today , some porsches and gallardos did get a real surprise...

So, how did you do w/ v3?

Per, from last time you have added the intake and DPs right? That combo is a big step forward. e92 is so aerodynamic, that you can take supercars at high speed at straight. Especially when they are 4wd...

I belive my car was the fastest 335 there, i had some nice fights with Porsche GT3 , beat him with more than 5cl, i was faster than the gallardo up to 200km/h then he slowly passed me and did win with app 2cl. i did ran even with a tuned (ca 450 hp crank)m3 dsg
But heartware has more info and movies,i belive he will start a new thread.
But for the moment i am trying to find out what is causing this strange code..

For next time add IC and you will take that Gallardo. The only explanation it being faster than you is that your IATs rose and you lost power.

I added intake but removed the vischnu exhaust, i had the ur catted dp last time , so i belive the power is similar as last time, perhaps some hp more.
We had a mobile dyno there this time, but i am not shure how accurate that dyno was, my car only did 331 whp, and a tuned m5 e60 did 360whp.

glad to hear you guys had fun out there. Sorry to hear about your code but I'm glad it didn't get in the way of your races. I sent heartware an email and asked him to forward it to you. Should be real easy to troubleshoot. The last time we heard about that problem was also from someone overseas. It was caused by a heavy handed customs agent who broke a resistor in the harness. Threw a code right from the start. Might not be the case here since it happened all of a sudden but should still be easy to figure out and fix.

And yep, your stock IC is the limiting component during these high speed races. Towards the end of your run, intake temps are probably over 80c which will drop boost by 1-1.5 psi as well as result in reduced ignition timing on the pump gas you guys were running.

Going completely catless would have help too. Either mod and I think you would have taken the gallardo up top too.
