How many cars with the same spec as mine?
I know someone has the statistics somewhere. I hardly ever see a bmw on craigslist with the same spec as mine, just wanted to know how many came to the USA.

There was a thread I saw somewhere in this forum of a guy using VIN's and telling people how many cars were produced with similar features. If you can find that thread you may be able to revive it

Sickfinga on maxbimmer can give you some specs on your car. Usually based on chassis, engine, transmission, drivetrain, exterior/interior colours and sport/M-sport packages.
He can also give you the rarest option although each single option(or lack there of) doesnt usually apply. with pretty normal trim is well ... standard. My bet is the rarest thing would be the N51 engine That being said an base automatic N51 sedan is common in certain states. Last edited by neilvan; 11-30-2020 at 01:52 PM.. |

Hah, I was being facetious. There isn't an easy way to find out what you're asking.

The E90 BMWs I see on Craigslist, OfferUp and Facebook Marketplace are being sold by bearded millenials who know what coilovers are but don't know what a socket wrench is or pretty much any other tool. Often these cars are poorly maintained and wrecked.

LOL I've done the major maintenance already, VCG, oil pan gasket, hopefully, the radiator doesn't blow.

Similar build here. Xenon lights though. Non smoker. Purchased new, and I still enjoy my E90. Love the solid, heavy feel of the car, road feedback, and steering.
Had a G20 330I loaner recently. The G20 was nice, punchy 4 cylinder, smooth shifts, nice interior. However, nothing like a naturally aspirated inline 6, and hydraulic steering. |
