Tiger Woods...Who the F**K cares? Wife cheater, DUI offender and a host of other criminal issues.
So the guy can put a ball in a cup and we are supposed to put a halo on his head? |

i dont think anyone here was putting a halo. he has done some pretty negative things but there is a big area between black and white and a lot of us have done things in the gray area.
i dont care for golf but i like to think i wish well for everyone, so i hope he does recover.

Details forthcoming obviously. Serious enough for Tiger to be extracted from the vehicle via the jaws of life. Although, one does wonder was he over confident in the handling ability of the GV80? The following comment from Motor-trend is interesting.

I've heard what they're saying about the accident but it looks like they simply ripped out the windshield and pulled him out that way. No A-pillar destruction typical when using JoL (Hurst®).
I'm waiting for cell-phone records to be investigated. |

Also there is a correction: as noted above by BMWCCA1 "jaws of life" were not used..

Its a 5k pound SUV not a sports car. The same could have easily happened if it were a X5 or GLE or any other Mid-Size SUV. S*** happens. This isn't like the original Explorers that were known to rollover and posed actual safety risks, the Genesis is far from being dangerous to drive as much as MT exaggerates it to be. Not to mention the MT review is awful, they say pretty much the opposite of what the majority of other GV80 reviews have said. From their recent MDX review to their X7 comparison, its pretty clear their writing has gone downhill. Most people don't even know what a Genesis is, this likely won't hurt them much, if it were a Tesla though...

Don't want to pre-judge too much, but I'm just guessing that stupidity was involved.

Hope he makes a full recovery. I doubt the accident had anything to do with the handling of the GV80.
