Motor mounts

This morning, I noticed that, when at a stop and not in gear, if I rev the engine a bit (not even that much), the car kind of shakes as though the torque is being felt through the chassis. It's a base M3 with about 1,700 miles. Break-in service done at 1,050 or so.

Seems like the engine mounts to me given that it's "directional" and only felt when going from idle RPMs to, say, 2,500+. But it'd be surprising that they would go bad so prematurely. I haven't really driven it hard at all, and certainly haven't done things like dumping the clutch at high RPMs, haven't ever used launch control, etc. I'm pretty sure this wasn't happening before. Anyone else notice this about their cars?

100% can confirm have felt this to an extent, and have noticed it since day 1. Car is 6mt - I'm currently at 3,000 mi and have driven the car what I'd consider mid-moderate to highest extent. I do not see a correlation -- I think its just part of it, but hope to here a few more in confirmation for sure.

They're stiffer mounts, they are going to transmit vibration and torque to the body as the cars objective is driver feel.

They'll get softer with more miles. I used to have some vibrations on idle and now at 5500 miles it's pretty smooth.

I get that and am not expecting it to feel like a Rolls or anything even close. I'm only asking here because it's something that didn't happen when I first got the car.

Yeah, idle is fine and smooth. It's just when I rev the car shakes/wobbles horizontally.
