Thumbs up RG Sport - Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust for BMW G80 M3 | G82 M4 ** Pre-Order Now!!! **

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Guys,

Just got an update from Akrapovic USA.
As of today, the system is available for pre-order.
First batch is expected to arrive stateside in October.

I only managed to received couple pictures. I will give an update once I have more images and details.

Currently, here are the information that I have for North America market. Pricing are available on my website. (Can't post pricing due to forum policy).

- It will be available as an axle back system - Slip-On Line (Titanium)
- Front pipe only offered in short version (preserving the factory secondary cat)
- 2 version of Carbon tips are offered. Regular Carbon Tips and Black Carbon Tips (I haven't seen the picture of Black Carbon Tips, but I assume it would be black finish on the metal part instead of regular Akrapovic finish)
- In addition to the exhaust system, Akrapovic also released their Carbon Fiber diffuser, will be offered in High Gloss finish and Matte finish (will update with picture once available)

Feel free to PM me if you have any question or interested in pre-ordering.

Here are some pictures that I have. Enjoy.

Aside from the secondary cats, the system should also retain the primary resonator, or the GPF in Euro spec car, to be whatever regulation compliant. Hope it sounds good, w/o needing down pipe LOL

Also I think there is a big aesthetic improvement on the carbon tips (wet carbon and logo on the metal) compared to last gen (matte carbon and printed logo…).

Should cost closely to MPE when considering the latter requires a new carbon diffuser to work with center mounting configuration.

I see Akra has released some technical data around the performance figures of the slip on and evolution link sets:

http://www.akrapovic.com/en/car/prod...38;yearId=6396

I see they are doing a long evolution link setup.

Roughly $1000 per hp gain. $10k = 8kw = 10hp.

Slip-On is pretty lengthy and doenst look like it will mate up to the Valvetronic midpipe without some cutting of the titanium (ouch)

Unless Valvetronic uses different cutting point than BMW cutting point, then it won't fit.
I tried to look for their midpipe pictures, but can't seem to find it.

Either that, or Akrapovic purposely doing that so you have to use their midpipe.

Thank you for the video. Valvetronic do uses factory cutting point.

No worry about your posts. It will help others too.

For an exhaust you cut and clamp to your OEM exhaust.

You're only a sucker if you buy one.
