I trying to decide between the PSI or valvetronic mid pipe! Does anyone have a opinion or have one installed and can help me on what one I should go with? My few must for them are will it create problems with the dealership/warranty and if it is to raspy/drone. I see both of them say that they do not cause CEL with is good for me for my NYS emission inspection. Looking forward to your responses thank you!

I had the PSI on my 2021 M4 Competition Coupe and was 100% happy with both the ease of installation, quality, and most importantly the sound. Another factor that no one seems to mention is the weight savings. Last week I sold my car because I absolutely disliked the M carbon sport seats, and last week I ordered a 2022 M4 Competition Coupe x-Drive with standard seats. Before selling my car I removed the midpipe as I plan on using it on my new car.

Valvetronic sounds incredible. A word of caution though… I ordered mine in April and still have not received “due to supply chain issues” and not having 3.5” piping. Their customer service is awful and keep saying that they are in the process of producing…. Pretty frustrated to be honest but it’s def the best sounding option so far. Waiting on Bomiz and a few others to drop soon though….

I was back and forth on the same.
Ultimately chose Valvetronic - it sounds amazing. Not sure exactly when I'll get it, but same likely applies to PSI.

Will the midpipe from a RWD car fit the AWD? I thought I read somewhere they may not be compatible.

I asked valvetronic this question and they replied that it should be interchangeable.

Basically they are the same car (size, weight, etc.) so yes they are interchangeable. I'm also thinking the same applies to lowering springs.

I ordered the Valvetronic. Hoping it shows up soon. They made it sound like it'd be a month or so. I ordered it two weeks ago…fingers crossed they were being accurate

Ordered mine in May.. still waiting. They sent me the same 2 emails a month apart stating they finally have the raw material to start production. I think they bit off more than they can chew with orders. I've heard some people preordered in April and still haven't received their midpipe!

I emailed them yesterday and they said that they're in production and they will begin shipping in two weeks.
I'm sure I'm back of the queue but how many of these could they really have sold?

I hope this is not BS and they do actually have the materials and are in production

Once you have the materials it can't take very long to make each one.

I forgot about that one. Then I googled the name and remembered. Kind of difficult to take that dude seriously when the very first thing he does in the first 10 seconds of his video is insult the car. Besides the exhaust sounds the same as everyone else’s mid pipes. PSI is in Florida and pretty much known throughout the whole country for having bad ass stuff for BMW. I’ve actually heard they their mid pipe. I’m going with them.

I liked the sound and design of the PSI better. Very happy with the pipe. Easy to install. A bit loud on cold start (both probably are). You won't go wrong with either pipe.

I agree when valvetronic first came out with their offering they didn't do themselves any favors. PSI showed exactly what they had done and why, valvetronic put out a crappy video with bad sound. Since then, though, there have been better videos showing the actual design and talking about what they did.

I very nearly pulled the trigger on PSI, but like the tone of the equal length from valvetronic better. PSI isn't fundamentally changing tone, just deleting secondaries & resonators. Valvetronic the tone is improved (IMO). I doubt there will be many complaints about either though

I was going to order the valvetronic mid pipe but then I heard the h pipe from supersprint and was sold. Great sound. There’s a six minute sound clip on YouTube and its somewhere on the forums.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen that video before. It is pretty cool. I wonder how much it costs? Also they are in Europe right? How would we even get it?

I’ve already contacted them. Very easy to to email them and they were quick to respond. Since I’m in California they have a specific system that will pass smog for CA clients. Oh and the parts are all around $1k. I don’t know if that’s special first round pricing but its very affordable. I think mine will be $1,050.00 plus shipping.
