Figured id post some updates on my expansion tank im making. Tired of the factory one and how it looks relocated in the engine bay. So I designed this one. Retains the factory sensor, as well fits in the relocated (driver side) engine bay. Still waiting on a tap for the coolant bleeder screw then ill make a bung for it. Will be installing it this weekend and fabbing brackets and getting some data. . .

Looks cool man good luck. How long did it take you to make it? Before I went the relocated route I just ended up getting the 335d reservoir and the bms charge pipe made to clear the reservoir.

Not long, a few hours. And i considered that route, but nothing like a custom piece lol

Its not hard lol. THis ones sloppy as its my test mule. After testing ill make a jig and make it prettier lol

Yeah, idk...I have tig welder and i was never able to get good with it. I have an issue actually seeing the arc due to bad eyesight....

Charge pipe specifically made for the 335d reservoir made by vrsf, and a few other venders.
