I have a reservation on a Lucid Air Pure. I figure it won't be filled until sometime in 2023 but I am in no rush as my 2018 530e is very comfortable and I want to give Lucid time to work out its bugs.
By then I expect I will have many choices of a BEV. |

I really like the Air, but one thing that bugs me about these startups are the limited options. For example the Air Pure is at a better price of $77k, but unavailable with a moonroof or an interior color other than black. Then for the exterior there's 5 colors all of which other than a dark red are monochromatic (black, white, silver, grey). To get those two features, the Air Touring is required at $95k, and even then like every other EV the roof doesn't open (my biggest pet peeve with a variety of EV's) and only the rear seats are a different color, for some reason Lucid won't give the front seats a color other than black.
