Interesting they chose not to include the 50th Anniversary edition of the M1000RR in the video. Especially since it's the very first M model for any BMW Motorrad and they put forth the effort to have a special color option in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of M.

Sorry but M is washed out and no longer true to Motorsport for the consumer market. Maybe in racing M is still there, everything has a M badge.

It's a great vid.
But if they're gonna show an X5 playing in the mud or an M235i drifting, why no E36 M3 Lightweight, E46 M3 CSL, E92 M3 GTS, E39 M5?? That's like leaving some of the best songs out of the box set!

I did hear one sound clip of an S14b? awesoming it was a 2.5l with CF intake. They are very distinctive.

Overall, M has a lot to be proud of. While for road cars, the highlight for M may have been (in my opinion) in the late 1990s through mid-2000s, two things are apparent:
1. M has continued to actually race cars and use that technology to enhance production M cars. 2. The recent M offerings (F87 M2 variants, G80X, and the F90 CS) have received high praise from almost every source. So, I do congratulate M on their 50 years. M has provided me with my three most favorite cars ever (see my sig line  ). Now, if the video editors can delete any reference to "M Town" in this video, "that'd be great."
