regarding the subject "they-don't-make-them-like-this-anymore" (nor will they, ever again) I have to add something I saw at Circle BMW two days ago. it belongs to the M-Specialist SA there, and he drives it to work…well, sometimes..

My 2010 e91 was MSport, 6MT, but rear drive and no nav / iDrive. LeMans Blue, no roof rails. It turned a few heads back in its day, and was a blast as a practical daily driver.

I miss my e92... It was a N54 335xi though, so not as smooth as the 328i.

That BMW is long gone—very sadly.

thats an 8k car for 14k for sale. Fantastic times!

I had two E90s. Lovely, reliable, still small and well handling cars, hampered by too harsh suspension, tram-lining, and kinda weak on RFT tyres. Soft peel plastic is terrible, but it is all on cars of that era...

Personally having had one car without Idrive hump, I thought their interior in that trim was simply gorgeous, BMW had some proper stuff back then.

They sure don't, I was lucky to find a BSM 6speed Manuel E91 a year ago. And hopefully I'll never have to sell its Such a great car!

None of us did - but we are not BMW's target market anymore.

On the plus side - they have saved me a Hell of a lot of money by no longer making anything I want to buy new.

I have no intention of parting with my e91 unicorn.
